single-dose sachets, 20 per box, soluble powder, oral suspension.
Citrus, the most suitable Diosmectite based product in the market.
COMPOSITION PER DOSE
3.0 g of Diosmectite. It is a special type of clay traditionally used in pharmacology for its thickening action (thickener) and film-coating/protection of the intestinal mucosa
It is effectively used as a medical device to thicken loose stools and has shown to be useful for accelerated intestinal transit (diarrhea).
In cases where diarrhea leads to severe dehydration, Stopper can be advantageously used in combination with Idraton 245.
When talking about diarrhea, the official Gastroenterology says, “The use of clay is interesting, because it consists of pure or mixed silicates that are mostly aluminum, which gives clay absorbing properties. This quality explains the long history of use of clay in traditional medicine for digestive diseases in the Mediterranean area (geophagia)”. In acute diarrhea, absorbency is particularly effective in relation to bacterial or viral toxins, food, drugs, and bile salts that may affect the integrity of the intestinal mucosa and cause diarrhea. These substances are mechanically kept away from the mucosa and taken away (adsorbed) by clay. Other interesting uses of clay involve diarrhea in irritable bowel and “short bowel” syndromes.
